My background

My experience

I trained at The Counselling Foundation in St Albans which provided me with a robust foundation in classical and contemporary psychodynamic theory and its application to a wide range of adult experiences. I hold a Diploma in Contemporary Psychodynamic Counselling (BACP accredited course) and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and have DBS clearance and professional insurance.

Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked in the advertising and media industry for over twenty years so am familiar with the demands and pressures that the corporate and commercial world bring.
